Pink Herrerasaurus by David Tana
03 - Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis - an basal saurischian/early theropod from the Late Triassic (~228 mya). New evidence most likely places Herrerasaurus within theropoda, but at the base of the "family tree". Skeletal reference for restoration is a cast on display at the Senckenberg Museum in Germany. No. 2 and color pencil on paper.
