08 - Tawa hallae - a theropod from the Late Triassic (~215 mya) that bridges the gap between more basal forms (like Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus) and later forms (like Coelophysis). Skeletal reference for restoration modified from Nesbit et al., 2009. No. 2 and color pencil on paper.

I realized I keep doing pretty standard lateral view for most of these pink dinos. I didn't want to get stale, so I thought I'd go for something slightly more dynamic. I don't know what he's really doing crouched down like that, but I'm certainly not trying to make Tawa look like an obligate quadruped. My apologies!
Thanks for the explanation! I thought that it was walking on all fours because to me it looked like its left hand is pronated.
